Live visualization of physical class libraries, dependency injection contracts, and session decoupling mechanisms.
By isolating the database, domain logic, and user interface into distinct realms of responsibility, cognitive overload is eliminated and components remain independently testable.
The Domain Layer exists as the absolute center of truth. It is entirely agnostic to HTTP requests or SQL database tables—it encapsulates pure C# business rules.

decoupling consumer logic from database query mechanics.Acts as the persistent memory bridge between ephemeral C# domain objects and relational storage in Microsoft SQL Server via Entity Framework 6.4.4.

Enterprise N-Tier Solution Architecture Breakdown
This project embodies the philosophy of N-Tier Enterprise Architecture, rooted in the psychological principle of Separation of Concerns (SoC). By isolating the database, the business logic, and the user interface into distinct realms of responsibility, we prevent cognitive overload within the codebase. The application becomes a resilient, self-aware system—highly testable, infinitely scalable, and impervious to the existential threats of framework changes.
The Domain Layer exists as the absolute center of truth—the unconscious mind of the architecture. It is entirely agnostic to the external world of web browsers or databases. It simply is. If we stripped away its environment and placed it in a desktop app tomorrow, its identity would remain untouched.
Cart.cs entity possesses the innate
knowledge to compute its own totals and manage its internal state, without needing
validation from an external controller.
IProductRepository. It demands
what it needs to survive, while remaining blissfully ignorant of where it
comes from. This inversion of dependency frees the core logic from the burdensome reality of
SQL.
This layer serves as the subconscious memory bank, providing tangible manifestation to our Domain's abstract desires. It acts as the vital synaptic bridge between ephemeral C# thoughts and the permanent reality of Microsoft SQL Server.
EFDbContext acts as the great
translator, automatically projecting our idealized C# Product entities into rigid SQL
tables using Code-First conventions.
EFProductRepository fulfills
the existential need of IProductRepository, executing
highly optimized LINQ-to-Entities queries to retrieve and filter the physical data required
to sustain the system.
The Presentation Layer is the outward-facing persona—the mask the application wears to interact with the HTTP universe. It routes external stimuli to the correct cognitive action and returns beautifully formatted HTML Razor views. Psychologically, it is kept intentionally thin and unburdened by deep thought; it contains absolutely zero core business logic.
ProductsListViewModel, and hand it
to the View for outward expression.
CartModelBinder acts as a
psychological buffer. It subconsciously deserializes the user's intent from their browser
session and injects it cleanly as a pure method parameter.
@Html.PageLinks) dynamically
manifest SEO-friendly pagination paths, guiding the user's journey based on their current
active filters.
If the Conscious Persona and the Subconscious Memory are entirely decoupled, how do they
communicate? Enter Ninject, the invisible architect of fate. At the moment of
genesis (startup), Ninject is psychically bound to map IProductRepository to EFProductRepository. When the ProductController asks for a repository
to fulfill its purpose, Ninject seamlessly injects the reality of Entity Framework. This
profound inversion allows us to completely sever the system from SQL during Unit Testing,
simulating an alternate reality without changing a single line of behavioral code!
